As a team, Bill and Marilynn document everything: changes in weight, moods, workouts and everything that goes into her body. Bill explains that is the only way they can make appropriate changes.

“Body sculpting is a science involving so many factors and each one has an effect on the other and the whole.” Bill further explains that age is an extremely important factor because decreases in muscle mass due to lowered levels of hormones and minerals has been documented as one of the inevitable aspects of aging. However, by weightlifting and maintaining a healthy diet, Marilynn has defied that and managed to increase her muscle mass, another plus for resistive exercising. “Like anything, the more you do something, the more you learn. Keeping a record of past findings will help you in the future.”

Through the years they’ve done a lot of experimentation to find out what works and what doesn’t.

Marilynn adds, “we train others for competition and general fitness but we’ve found we are our own best guinea pigs when it comes to altering training and diet.

We also have a lot of motivation to stay fit. As personal trainers and previous gym owners, we know that our bodies are a walking billboard.”
